Tony Ehrenreich apologises to SA Jewish Board of Deputies for hate speech remarks – SABC Information

The SA Jewish Board of Deputies says former Cosatu chief within the Western Cape, Tony Ehrenreich has ultimately apologised for inciting violence and hatred in opposition to the management of the Jewish group.

In August 2014, in a social media publish,  Ehrenreich known as the Jewish management “complicit within the homicide of the individuals in Gaza” and likewise known as for “an eye fixed for an eye fixed”  retribution in opposition to Zionist supporters.

Nationwide Chairman, Shaun Zagnoev, has recommended the SA Human Rights Fee for upholding a grievance of hate speech and ordering Ehrenreich to apologise.

He says the long-awaited consequence of this case sends a transparent message that it’s by no means justified to threaten one’s fellow residents for representing views that one disagrees with.
