Highlands Park director Sinky Mnisi has criticised the South
African Soccer Affiliation (SAFA) as he feels they’re delaying the season
The PSL was desirous to get the season again underway this
month, however SAFA stepped in and informed the league that August is the earliest that
aggressive soccer can return.
Mnisi took a dim view of SAFA’s response and has laid the
blame at their ft, claiming that the soccer governing physique is just too busy
taking part in politics to make actual progress.
“They’ve taken their eyes off the ball and are
taking part in politics,” Mnisi informed The Citizen.
“It’s unhappy that they aren’t contemplating what this may
do to golf equipment. Gamers and workers have to be paid. The season needs to be completed
so gamers can have a break and see their households. They’ve been cooped up
away from dwelling for a very long time now.”
SAFA claimed that one of many causes for the delay was to
give golf equipment time to make sure all organic well being requirements had been met, however
Mnisi rejected the notion.
He added: “The PSL and golf equipment wouldn’t ship gamers to
